ytd met sheng ling, i wen and lay eng to study at esplanade library. we endured till 3p.m. for lunch cos the sakae teatime sushi buffet strts at 3p.m. we were all looking forward to eating sushi. but when we reach there, we saw the poster outside saying that the buffet is only available on weekdays. there is only supper buffet on weekends. omg we were all so disappointed. we were so mentally prepared for the meal and now it's gone:'( then we carried our hungry stomachs searching for food. chose to eat at billy bombers in the end cos we saw that there was one for one lunch. me and sheng ling caught sight of the choco fondue with ben and jerry's ice-cream offer. for the one-for-one lunch, there were only 3 varieties to choose from so me, lay eng and i wen chose honey stung chicken and sheng ling chose the all star burger. then i wen and lay eng ordered cookies and cream milkshake to share and sheng ling and i ordered the ben and jerry's ice-cream choco fondue to share.
sheng ling regretted ordering all star burger in the end cos she said it's too big, she doesnt know how to eat it glamly. so she changed her order to honey stung chicken cos the chicken looks so delicious. wah we were all so hungry but they were rly taking a damn long time to serve us. we were all salivating at other ppl's food but ours still hadnt come:( when it finally came, all of us couldnt control and strted eating. but i realise the food wasnt very nice. the chicken was quite tasteless on the inside. it's just sweet cos of it's skin. there were 4 big pieces of chicken and big pieces of potato wedges or is it fries which were super big size. hah. the serving was super big! all of us felt quite sick of the chicken. yucks. i only managed to finish eating the second piece. i was the lousiest. the rest managed to at least finish the third piece i tink and lay eng the pro-est, tink she managed to finish almost everything. wah i seriously cant take it, wanted to puke alrdy. hah. then asked for our desserts.
when it came, we got a shock cos the scoops of ice-cream were super duper small. tink the fondue is not worth for 23 plus bucks at first. luckily now is half-price. all of us strted to eat. yum yum the choco is rly damn nice:) just love it! then childish sheng ling and i were playing with our food in the fondue, not allowing each other to take their food out frm the fondue. haha. she's still so childish:) funny la. had a great time playing with the fondue. then tasted i wen's milkshake and both sheng ling and i agreed there was a metal taste inside. haha. seriously the first taste i tasted was metal taste. had to try so hard to taste the cookies and cream taste. hah had to use sheng ling's way of tasting. haha. then lay eng they all didnt think so and asked that i had tasted metal before meh or else how i know how it tasted. haha. ya true but it rly had the metal taste:)
aft we finally finished eating, asked for the bill. so shocked to see our bill. and aft calculating, so shocked to see the large digits. wah tt meal which i was not so satisfied with cost me 19+ bucks. 我的天! i was seriously centless aft tt. cos tot only eating sakae sushi which cos less than 15 bucks so didnt bring so much money:'( i am not going billy bombers anymore. the food is not very nice lor. maybe will only go there for milkshake ba:)
