SATURDAY
went for the Athena faculty outing , 煮-on, in school which also falls on halloween:) it was quite a pity cos the weather turned out to be bad so instead of holding it in the central plaza, we had to shift in to the inner plaza. all the tables and stuff were laid outside alrdy and in the end, had to be shifted in. hah the few of us helped out carrying the tables and benches in:)
hah miss genevieve tan dressed damn well tt day. we tot we dressed as an elf cos her skirt looks like tt of an elf's but she told her she was an angel.she even had wings at the back:) she looks so cute! wah then we waited for quite some time before we can finally strt eating the steamboat. aft tt we even had ice-cream for dessert.
then the last item for the day - to watch the jap horror movie, ju-on. the ghost characters inside look super scary:/ then there were random guys in the central plaza who deliberately screamed to scare people. made us feel more scared:( then there was one scary part when everyone alrdy feel damn scared and suddenly there was a doll dropping down from the second level down the screen! it was the act if a few people on the second level. hah they succeed cos everyone screamed. hah thruout the entire movie, most of the time i was pulling onto kaiyun's sleeve and pants. hah tink it almost gone out of shape ba. and we were so tired frm all the screaming. hah we were so scared of going to the toilet aft tt.
SUNDAY
we had gems which was to cycle at ecp. yay so happy i can finally get to master my cycling skills. almost everyone was late, we spent so much time waiting for ppl to reach so we can set off frm bedok mrt station.
vanessa finally gave in to learning how to cycle aft knowing tt there would be ppl lagging behind to learn, who also includes me. the girls rented bikes which had lower seats:) aft looking at the ppl cycling outside, i realised my seat was rly super low. i tot i would wobble damn a lot when i cycle and actually cant even turn, but when i tried, i realised i could actually cycle quite stably:) hah i tink i tot i couldnt cycle all along because of my fear that the bicycle will be too high for my feet to touch the ground. but cos my feet were able to touch the ground ytd, i wasnt tt scared. but i can still rmb last yr when the few of us went to recce bishan park, i wasnt able to cycle smoothly and cant turn. dunno leh, weird. lin ying could cycle well too aft a while of refreshing her skills:) i wanted to stay behind and teach vanessa but cos wan chu was alrdy teaching her, i was unnecessary so me, kai yun and lin ying set off then.
it was really damn shuang to cycle:) yay my first time cycling so much alone on a single bike:) i could actually cycle quite fast and stable and the feeling of overtaking ppl was rly super shiok:D but i almost fell a few times trying to avoid ppl in front of me and DOGS! damn scary. luckily my feet were able to touch the ground or else i would hav knocked into those ppl. but next time, i'm gonna try a taller bike to train myself. hah i realised i could even use one hand to cycle for a while cos i could scratch my face with one hand and cycle with the other:) but my legs were rly weak cos they ached only aft a while of cycling. there were a few times i wanted to give up halfway up the slope but i knew i cant or else i would just roll down. then on my way back, i tried to cycle very fast and alone with kaiyun and lin ying far behind. but i stopped a few times cos i tot i cycled the wrong path and was so scared i would be lost cos i didnt know how to go back:/ but luckily i was on the right track.
when the rest went back to return their bikes, we were told tt xin ying fell down the drain. and we even heard tt everyone seemed lyk they were heroes saving a beauty. cos frm far, when russell saw xin ying rolling down the drain, he immediately got down frm his bike and threw it down and ran towards her. the rest followed him aft tt. hah but i was wondering wouldnt cycling actually be faster than running?:p russell even injured himself when trying to save xin ying. all these sounded quite dramatic. our classmates are such nice ppl, so concerned for others. good good:) vanessa was still learning how to balance on the bicycle. tot she would feel xinku learning how to ride but fortunately she found it to be fun:) and i tink she's quite determined to learn it now, when she didnt even want to learn it in the beginning cos she was worried tt she would fall. hope she can master it soon:D
then we went to the hawker centre to da-bao cos wan chu suggested eating at the beach. jin-faye, kaiyun, lin ying and i didnt know wad to eat there so lin ying bought cheng teng and the 3 of us bought ice-kachang. we decided to go macs at bedok aft tt. then we went to the beach tgt. they sat on the beach! ah i hate the sand! i had nv sat on the sand nor touch the sand with my hands before in my entire life. tink my feet had only touched the sand before for lyk maybe 3 times cos last time still tot i was allergic to sand but i tink no ba:) then no choice, i had to sit down in the end:( i told myself i shall be determined to touch the sand with bare hands the next time i go to the beach:)
went to mas at bedok. the guys came with us too before they left for stayover at downtown east chalet. we were trying to see wad monopoly coupons we got cos some of them could win with one more coupon i tink. hah i won one instant win one. it was free sausage mcmuffin but cos i seldom go macs in the morning to eat so i asked who wanted it and yun hao took it. then aft tt, when the guys left, kaiyun realised she just need one more coupon to win a laptop i tink. she called the guys to ask whether any of them had the coupon she needed and yun hao has it! but cheapo yun hao wanted to split the prize and didnt want to give her the coupon. damn bad! so kaiyun couldnt win:(
gems was very fun ytd. i want to go cycling soon!
